This album started out as an attempt to make a Halloween sound effects record. It ended as a combination of impromptu instrumentals and field recordings, all collected during the times in-between.

There are some other people on this recording, though they don't know it. There are some other recordings on this recording, but no one was told about it.
I'll approach this reductively.
Violins on "Lonely Bedroom Band Practice" were not played by me. Trumpet on "Horn Man from Far Away" was not played by me(Paul). I borrowed the dog/wolf sounds and the wave sounds from the internet on "Beach Dogs." My dad says the words "we can go" at the end of "Bells While You Wait." The song "Bummer Town" features several sections of a great drunken Fakesgiving speech by Toby. Everything else I either played or recorded.
Field recordings were gathered from a Philadelphia warehouse, a balcony in Antigua, the Chesapeake Bay, an art gallery in Chelsea, the front porch, my dad's office, a backyard party in Germantown, and a (now defunct) recording studio next to a garbage dump.
